After a stint playing professional Rugby, first with Bedford Blues and then with Ballymena we qualified as Personal Trainers and launched DoubleVision Personal Training in 2004.
We have established a strong client base. Between us we deliver approximately 80 hours of one on one personal training to clients each week. We believe passionately in what we do and find it incredibly rewarding working with our clients to help them achieve their fitness goals.
While we wanted to continue to offer one on one personal training, we also wanted to expand our business. With only so many hours in the day and only so many clients we could train, how could we move forward, grow our business and allow more people to benefit from our skills and exercise knowledge? Then we came up with the idea for the FitnessVideoPodcasts.
The Podcast workouts have been designed and planned by us. Professionally filmed, each Podcast shows us demonstrating a range of exercises targeting the key muscle groups and providing clear advice on how to perform each exercise safely and effectively.
Subscribers to the FitnessVideoPodcast Service will be able to contact the DoubleVision Team for advice on fitness and nutrition and we are very much looking forward to this opportunity to be able to reach people across the globe.

NASM is based in the US but has over 100,000 members in 80 countries & is a recognised provider of certification, continuing education, solutions and tools for health, fitness, sports performance and sports medicine professionals. NASM's CPT Personal Training Award equipped us with a thorough knowledge of human movement science, functional anatomy, physiology and kinesiology and their CES Award gave us a detailed insight into common movement dysfunctions. We have applied this knowledge of movement patterns when designing the podcast routines ensuring clients will not only lose weight when training with the video podcasts but also decrease movement dysfunctions and reduce their risk of injury.
Charles Poliquin is recognised as one of the world's most successful strength coaches and has successfully coached Olympic medalists in 12 different sports. PIMST certification is one of the most highly regarded qualifications in the strength and conditioning world.
We learned not only the core kettlebell exercises but also the necessary skills to instruct safe, effective Kettlebell training sessions including how to assess a client's posture, improve movement patterns and test for kinetic chain dysfunctions.
REPS' mission statement is "to ensure all exercise professionals are suitably knowledgeable and qualified to help safeguard and to promote the health and interests of the people who use their services." Our registration with REPS guarantees to clients that we meet REPS' standards of good practice including continuing education and insurance requirements.
We are committed to extending our fitness knowledge and to our continued professional development and in addition to our formal qualifications, certifications and memberships we regularly attend relevant seminars & courses to ensure we keep fully up to date with new developments and ideas.
